Today I was in a cafe and saw a sign posted over a low, angled doorframe that read 'WATCH YOUR HEAD AND BUTTOCKS...' Maybe I'm overthinking this. Maybe that sign has a perfectly reasonable explanation. Like some horrible event that necessitated someone to finally stand up and take action. But I just can't stop wondering why the patron of the sign felt the need to add the word buttocks. Watch you head, yes, I've seen enough head injuries to feel like the warning is justified and moreover, that particular warning makes sense given the awkward doorframe situation. But I'm having trouble imagining in exactly what way someone could walk through a doorframe that would put their head AND buttocks at risk. Just me?
On another strange signage note, I saw a restaurant earlier today called "Wills Chicken Tasty." Hmmm. Sounds delicious! Think i'll have to try that next time I find myself around that shady corner of Kampala with an empty stomach and no inner voice.
